ABOUT US

Roberta and Ted Manzer have dedicated much of their lives to agriculture, education, and serving their community. Both spent 25 years teaching Agriculture in the public school system, sharing their knowledge and passion for plants, farming, and horticulture with generations of students.

Before entering the field of education, the Manzers owned and operated an Interior Plantscaping and Landscape business for 13 years, gaining hands-on experience in plant care, landscape design, and helping businesses and homeowners bring natural beauty into their spaces. They also bring over 40 years of experience providing wedding and event floral services, creating beautiful arrangements for countless special occasions.

After retiring from education, Roberta and Ted followed their lifelong passion for plants and opened Manzer’s Nursery in 2021 in Winfall, North Carolina. Today, they enjoy welcoming customers into their greenhouse and nursery, sharing their wisdom, expertise, and love for gardening with the community. Their goal is to create a friendly, welcoming place where both experienced gardeners and beginners can learn, explore, and find the plants they need to grow something beautiful. 🌿🌼
